We are currently landscaping an entire garden which is an ongoing project with one of our regular clients in Milton Keynes. Today we finished a bespoke putting green- something which the customer is very excited about! The client is a very keen golfer and we liaised thoroughly with regards to having undulations rather than a flat putting green, to help him improve his final game. The site the putting green was to be built on was on a severe gradient, which was adjacent to a garden path. We had to install a sleeper retainer to build up a level area. Once the sleepers were put in, cladding was added to the face. We used a special hard wood called ipe- a tropical wood typically used for decking. Lights were installed in the sleepers and around the putting green to create a facility that can be used all year round. Plants were added to finish the look.
